Rami Bebawi Named Fellow of the RAIC College
KANVA is proud to announce that Rami Bebawi, architect, principal partner, and co‑founder of the firm, has been named a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) College, one of the highest distinctions awarded by the institution. This honorary recognition celebrates architects who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and an exceptional commitment to advancing architecture in Canada and around the world.
For more than two decades, Rami has contributed to architectural discourse at the local, national, and international levels through a sensitive, narrative, and contemporary approach. Across KANVA’s projects — from intimate interventions to ambitious institutional work — he places human experience, creativity, and the transformation of the built environment at the core of every undertaking. His career is also marked by a continuous commitment to teaching and mentorship, which he embodies through lectures, academic collaborations, and active support for the next generation of architects.
The induction ceremony for the 2026 Fellows will take place on May 6, 2026, during the RAIC’s annual conference in Vancouver.
The entire KANVA team warmly congratulates Rami on this exceptional achievement.
