CLT structure rising rapidly on site of future Sun Youth Community Center

The Mass timber structure is rapidly rising on the site of the future Sun Youth Community Center.

Last week, we witnessed the installation of the impressive cross-laminated timber beams by Nordic Structures. With a depth of over 6 feet and spanning a total of 90 feet, these spectacular elements serve to frame the new gymnasium.

With its timber structure, the new multi-purpose community center aims to achieve Zero Carbon Building (BCZ-V3) certification. We look forward to continuing to share the construction process with you!

Thank you to all our collaborators and supporters of this community project.
