The IIT College of Architecture led by Dean Michelangelo Sabatino and Morgenstern Chairs Johanna Hurme + Sasa Radulovic are proud to present platformMIDDLE, Architecture for Housing the 99% – a workshop that will explore the current state of multi-family housing in the North American context and the architect’s role in shaping its future. The workshop will bring together practitioners, critics and developers across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with emphasis on the market driven economies. The participants will highlight major challenges and opportunities in delivering better outcomes and broadening the reach of architecture through housing. Goal of platformMIDDLE, Architecture for Housing the 99%, is to create a platform for engagement and a call to action.
