Tram 58 est une intervention urbaine pour une place publique sur un tronçon de la rue Wellington entre les rues Galt et de l’Église. La narration conceptuelle du projet  s’inspire du site et de son histoire pour en extraire une typologie sphérique qui se décline en deux composantes principales, soit la sphère suspendue au-dessus du presbytère et les pastilles amovibles au sol, reliées à l’ancien chemin du tram de Verdun.

Visible et significative, la sphère suspendue est un écran sphérique ancré au toit du presbytère, pouvant diffuser spontanément images, vidéos et sons. En parallèle, les pastilles au sol offrent une flexibilité à l'échelle humaine pour accommoder une panoplie d'évènements dans le but d'animer, de provoquer et de favoriser les échanges sociaux, économiques et culturels à Verdun.

Tram 58 is an urban intervention that transforms a section of Wellington Street between Galt and Church into a public space. The conceptual narrative of the project is inspired by the site and its history, extracting a spherical typology to form two components: the sphere suspended above the presbytery and grounded cylinders that move along the ancient Verdun tram rails.

Visible and significant, the suspended sphere is an extensive screen anchored to the roof of the rectory that can diffuse images, videos and sounds spontaneously. In parallel, the cylinders anchored to the ground provide flexibility at the human scale, accommodating a variety of events in order to facilitate, stimulate and foster the social, economic and cultural exchanges in Verdun.
